Opening Hours

Visits to the Melk Concentration Camp Memorial (Melk Memorial) in the former crematorium are free of charge at any time. The key for the garden gate can be borrowed from the guard in the entrance area of the "Birago Pioneer Barracks", Prinzlstraße 22, upon deposit of an official photo ID.

The former prisoner accommodation "Objekt 10" can only be visited as part of guided tours. You can find our current events here.

Prices

There is no charge to visit the Melk Concentration Camp Memorial (Melk Memorial).

Notes

At present, the concentration camp memorial is not accessible for wheelchair users. If you would like to visit the memorial, please contact us. The future accessibility of the concentration camp memorial is being planned.

We do not advise visiting the Melk Concentration Camp Memorial (Melk Memorial) with children under the age of 14.

Visiting the Melk Concentration Camp Memorial (Melk Memorial) with dogs or other animals is not permitted.
